Making the Everyday Beautiful
Jodi has spent her life constantly learning, designing and making. Fine woodworking, photography, digital fabrication, silversmithing, drawing, 3d rendering, videography, cheesemaking, leatherworking, laser cutting, jewelry making, CNC technology, ceramics, pottery and most recently casting are only some of the areas she has learned. She, like the average maker, has a constant desire to learn and improve.
Jodi spent almost a decade as an instructor. She started her teaching career at the University of Winnipeg, moved abroad after 2 years, spent 4 years in Asia teaching students of all ages, then headed for the United Arab Emirates to teach at the Abu Dhabi University, before landing in the US where she taught photography and fine woodworking.
Jodi spent 11 years travelling and documenting the lives of people through the lens of her camera. She hopes her photographs will serve to inspire, motivate and educate.
